Senior Pastor

Forest Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor who demonstrates a strong knowledge of Scripture and genuine heart for the gospel, missions, and discipleship. We are a multi-generational congregation committed to shining the light of Christ within our community, and we desire a shepherd who will lead us with humility, wisdom, and compassion.

• Spiritual Leadership
• Preach and teach the Word of God dkuring worship services.
• Lead prayer gatherings and encourage a culture of prayer with in the church.
• Provide biblical counseling to members as needed.
• Disciple and shepherd the congregation toward spiritual growth.
• Pastoral Care
• Visit and minister to the sick, bereaved, and those experiencing crisis. 
• Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral ceremonies.
• Leadership and Administration
• Provide oversight and guidance to all church ministries.
• Lead and collaborate with the Deacon Body to suppport the health and wellbeing of the church.
• Work with committees and ministry teams to help them fulfil their responsibilities.
• Perform administrative duties necessary for the day-to-day operations of the church.
• Corrdinate with church members to support the ongoing life and ministry of the congregation.
• Community and Missions
• Represent Forest Baptist Church in community and associational activities.
• Share the Gospel with the lost in our community.
• Equip and train church members to participate in outreachand mission efforts.
