Forest Baptist Church is seeking our next full-time pastor with a intricate knowledge and understanding of the Bible along with a spirit and heart for the gospel and missions who will disciple and shepherd our congregation. We are a multi-gererational congregation who are seeking to be a light within our community. The Pastor would oversee and provide guidance to all church ministries. He must possess the leadership skills to lead the Deacon Body and church members in the wellbeing of the church. Pastoral duties will include Preaching worship services, leading prayer gatherings, visiting sick, bereaved, members in crisis, officiate at weddngs, funerals, and baptisms. Provide Biblical counseling to church members as needed. Work with various ministries and commmittees within the church to assist them in performing their assigned tasks. Represent the church in community and denominational activities. Witness to the lost people of this community and be prepared to train and equip church members to participate in outreach efforts. Be willing to preform adminitrative duties that are necessary to oversee the day-to-day operations of the church and to coordinate with church members for the ongoing life and ministry of the church.
