Ebenezer Baptist Church is a small, rural congregation located in Florien, Louisiana. We are currently searching for a pastor, who needs to be bi-vocational or have a second source of income. Our pastor must be a born-again believer, who holds the Biblical qualifications for a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
The church has been in existence for 140 years and is debt-free. Average worship attendance is 17. Our attendance has been at least twice that in past years and we believe our church can grow with a pastor to lead us. Even though our membership is small, we desire to see God’s work continue in our area.
A parsonage, located next door to the church, is provided for the pastor. The parsonage has 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, and separate dining room/office. The church pays the water bill for the parsonage.
