FBC Charleston is seeking and praying for a pastor. Full time or bi-vocational applicants will be considered. We are a very giving and prayerful Church, asking God to send us a leader to direct us in Bible Study and Discipleship. Our community needs this Church to be a beacon of hope to the needful and lost. Growing our attendance of children, youth, and young adults is a priority we feel is needed promptly. We are seeking a pastor with a minimum of a bachelors degree or experience of equal proportion, 5 years or more of service in leadership role position, and seminary training or completion is favorable. Age is really not important. As we pray for God's guidance in this process, we also pray that you are being led to fill this position in this Church and community to direct us in doing God's work. We understand that we are to be servants and workers in the execution of God's Will. We desire the leadership to lead us in doing just that. We currently have regular Sunday Church Service at 9:00 AM, Sunday School at 10:15 AM, Young Adult Bible Study on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, and Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting/Bible Study at 5:30 PM. We often participate in activities at the local nursing home, we have a drive-thru prayer outside the Church on Tuesday mornings, we participate in Operation Christmas Child, and often sponsor children to go to our local association summer camp and youth to attend Fuge camp. We patiently wait for a response and thank you for your time and consideration.
